A.I was looking in an old medical reference book and it seemed to openly acknowledge that hepatitis was not an uncommon complication of transfusions and to me implied that the blood supply was not completely protected from hepatitis...........also saw in an old PDR from 1992 that Hepatavax B was discontinued.
