Depression Medication

Q.I was just wondering how you know that most herbal medication doesn't work? Is it from personal experience or from hearsay?

A.I ask because I am using JSW and I have found that it has helped a lot although I am not using one of the brands you named. My depression isn't severe but I wouldn't say that is mild either. Actually maybe it is questions like this that justify the need for this newsgroup. I only learnt to deal with my depression from talking to someone in the same position before I found out about newsgroups. I found it really helpful to talk to someone who has tried both forms of medication. It would be good to have a place to go to talk about this and then make an informed decision. True, we might never have arrived, but the fact is we did. If only people thought a little more about it, they would see that life is not worth worrying about so much. So why aren't you subscribed and posting to the already existing newsgroup which COVERS both topics - alt.support.depression.medication? I am suscribed to that group, but I stopped visiting for a while as it was mainly trollers like SSRI hater etc. posting. I thought I would contine to lurk for a while longer before I start posting there.
