Anti Depression Meds???

Q.Every time I take anti Depression Meds, they just make me sick and I am afraid of them. I can't seem to get anything done. I just can't seem to get motivated and I am moderately depressed. So do I try another anti depression drug or is there another avenue of approach?

A.Keep at it. Some stufff works for different people; Paxil has been a life saver for me.It was hard for me at first because of my pride to take it . But how stupid is it when keeps you from help.EXercise has also helped different meds work for different people. most have side effects that wear off after 4-6 weeks. if they don't, maybe it's time to try something else. how many meds have you tried? it took me quite a few before i found something with minimal side-effects that worked for me. besides meds, exercise and a good diet are both important. talk therapy, especially cognitive/behavioral can help you cope with the symptoms of depression.
