What are the physical symptoms of depression?

Q.Not necessarily, that could mean you aee so depressed you are at the point of apathy and can't cry anymore. Is that what you are alluding to?

A.Also, headaches, insomnia, and second to tired, very tired, to the point that ppl cannot believe you are that tired, or understand it; some ppl eat too much for comfort, ; and then there's crying, lots of crying. a lot of the physical things i think come from not having the will anymore to do the things to be active and healthy. Not every one who is lives with depression cries, some people think that depression is over whelming emotion, but to some people depression is a lack of emotion. I don't cry. But I constantly think of death. Not suicide (although I have attempted suicide) but death. The not being anymore. I lack motivation, ambition, I have very low levels of energy. I constantly think I am a worthless, useless waste of space, an oxygen thief. I can rarely see anything positive about me or my life whatsoever. And I would love to be able to cry, I would love to cry all the pain out of my heart, I would love to be able to feel, I mean really really feel. Instead of living in a void...instead of having an empty space where real emotions should be. Some things can be dealt with. If you feel you are worthless, try to help people, go to a nursing home, volunteer. I may be a screwup in many ways, and on occasion have put a shirt on backwards; however, I know that by helping people my presence is a positive force in this world and that is more than I can say for some people.
